2026 BOARD NOMINEES

Shaun mock

Shaun Mock serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Snapping Shoals EMC in Covington, Georgia. He began his career in the electric cooperate industry in public accounting, auditing electric cooperatives throughout the Southeast as a student intern with the CPA firm McNair, McLemore and Middlebrooks in Macon, Georgia. He later served as Accounting Supervisor at Satilla REMC in Alma, Georgia before going to Snapping Shoals EMC where he held the role of Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer prior to being named President and CEO.

Mock is a cum laude graduate of Mercer University, earning degrees in accounting and finances, and holds a Master of Accounting degree in taxation from the University of Georgia. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mock has served in numerous leadership capacities within the cooperative community, including past president of the Georgia EMC Accounting Association, past Chair of Go Energy Credit Union, and is a member of the 2026 class of Leadership Georgia. Mock has also been active in local economic and community organizations, including the Henry and Newton County Chambers of Commerce.

Tim Martin

Timothy C. Martin is the Chief Executive Officer of Carroll EMC. He began his career in the electric cooperative business as a co-op student in 1987 while attending college. After graduating, he worked seven years in manufacturing before returning to Carroll EMC as the Manager of System Engineering in 1999. He and his wife Shelley reside in Carrollton, Georgia. They both joined Go Energy Credit Union as members in 1991.

Martin has over thirty years of management experience. He has a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of West Georgia. Martin is a licensed professional engineer and is active in serving his community. He is a member of the Carrollton Rotary and Carrollton Kiwanis clubs and a deacon at his local church. He has served on multiple boards and is currently a board member for the Tanner Health Foundation and Go Energy Credit Union.
